Privacy Issue

So I'm kinda tired of the whole situation I have here. It's not a serious one, just annoying. You see I spend a lot of time in my room, because this is where my computer is. And believe it or not I enjoy spending time on my computer, either reading webcomics, or watching videos on YouTube or talking to friends. Now what I find annoying is that my Dad has decided the best way to enter my room is not by knocking, oh no, but by swing the door open as fast as he can.

WHOOSH!

And I KNOW I should be used to it by now, but it's still really annoying. I would just prefer if he would take the example of the rest of the family and knock. My Mom knocks, my Sister knocks, and I can't believe that she does, but when I so much as ASK my Dad to knock he says no. Well he really said.

"What are you worried about, if I see you sitting in your underwear in here what's the big deal?"

Excuse me? What's the big deal? The "Big Deal" is the fact that you don't care about my privacy, and they most of the time when you choose to swing the door open i'm filming a Vlog for YouTube. Also I don't sit in my room in my underwear. Not Unless i'm about to go to bed.

"This is MY house and I'll do what I want."

Yes but this is the room that you gave me and I'd like to be able to sit in here without you flinging my door open so you can "Find me in the Act" as my mother so kindly incinuated during dinner. So hopefully I'll get it through his head that i'd just appreciate the knock, and not what he chose to do after i asked him to knock.

*TAP*WHOOSH!

Brisingr!

Oh yeah I have it.

I now am the proud owner of the third book in the Inheritance Cycle.

WHOO!

Bet you can feel that excitement eh?
Well good, because I'm quite excited to have it.
Now i know you might not feel my excitement, heck I don't even know if anyone reads a word I write here, but this series is MUCH better than Twilight.

And the fact that when I went to go buy it, on the day it came out mind you, the store didn't have it, but had a huge display of all of Miss Meyers books, which kinda Ticked me off. Now I know what you might be saying, Were you looking in the right place? And to be honest the answer should be yes, but it wasn't. You see i went to Walmart looking for the book, because NORMALLY they have the best prices. BUT did they have a new release on display?

NO

So we left thinking okay maybe we can stop by again later and try again. And soon we found ourselves in a KMart. and almost as soon as we walked in the door I had the book, they had it sitting out right next to the customer service desk. So I had the book, payed 18.50$ for it too, but I had it.

So we left KMart and headed to church where i began to read the book, now i had an issue with my wrists hurting all day so i didn't get far, the holding of the book made them hurt more, but what I've read I loved.

So on the way home we decided to stop at Walmart again, just to see. Now we'd given them about 6 hours to get the book, do you think they had it on display anywhere by then? Nope. so i again asked if they had it and got the responce "well we can't check if we have it UNLESS we have the item to scan"

WHAT THE FUG?

You can't open something on the computer to see if you have an item? If I could find it I wouldn't be asking you if you had it would I? So he then goes on to tell me that "Just because a book is released on a certain day, doesn't mean we put it out on that day."

Umm Excuse me? You have the other books by this guy sitting out on display. with something on the front ADVERTIZING that the third book was to be released today. Yep cause that makes sence. So i had admitted defeat, when my Dad suggested that i go ask at the service desk. So I go up to the front of the store.
"Hi, I'm looking for a book?"
"Brisingr?"
"Yeah"
So the lady goes and pulls the book from a box of books, in total i saw THREE boxes of this book, all tucked away behind the counter, and the staff near the book section had no clue. Now Walmart wanted 19.50$ for it, which was more expensive than Kmart so i obviously didn't buy it there so i could return my KMart copy, but what i'm confuzed about is why do they advertise the book at 14$ on Walmarts webpage but charge 19.50$ in the store?

Just doesn't seem logical.

Well we pass another Kmart on the way home and i wanted some Pokemon cards so we stopped there too, they wanted 18.50$ for Brisingr so i figured i'd gotten the best deal i could find. but we did find a really great deal in the store. digital cameras for 25$. we bought three, but they don't work for what i want them to do so we're gonna take one back.

anyways i'm headed to bed so i'll see you all later

School

AHH!

School has started.

Damn it

I mean i like school and all, there are some great people there, but the routine is what gets me.

Wake up at 6:00
My Mom comes in and whispers "Cory my Cory, Good Morning to you" at about 6:03
I say yes, because by that time I'm usually fully awake, it's just the next couple of minutes that i fall back into being tired
When i get out of bed around 6:08-6:10, maybe later if i fall back asleep I take a shower
About ten-fifteen minutes later I'm back in my room looking up random nonsense on the computer
Then I leave my room to make lunch
then i sit around and i might eat breakfast
My sister has gotten up by now, and is being cranky
I get everything else ready
Then My sister walks out the door and i'm still putting my shoes on
we get in the car and she drives to school
Normally we arrive at 7:45
I enter the school and walk to my locker
I put my backpack in and take my books and such out
I walk to Pre Calc
I sit through that for 45 minutes
then i move to study hall with Lance, i mean Mr. Pederson
Onwards to Art
Now i have lunch, mind you this is at 10:30 in the morning, which i why i normally don't eat breakfast
onto phy ed, which is going to suck this year
now to band yay!
now it's time for composition
Us history 2
and Physics
the bell rings at 3:07
I walk to my locker grab my stuff and head for the bus
i get home
i sit at my computer
i eat dinner
i go to sleep

I may watch some tv on certain nights, but thats basically what happens during the school year.
Same old Routine everyday, now on tuesdays and thursdays i have jazz band in the mornings, so i have to get ready for school earlier so i can be drivine to school by my mother or Erich.

so yeah

Don't Worry I didn't Get it the FIrst Time Either

Yes.

A Freaking Panda.

Who Does Kung Fu.

So I have to admit this was one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Not only is the animation spectacular, the voice actors were great and the storyline was amazing.

Basically it has better than Wall*E, I mean Wall*E was good and all, but this was so much better.

Now my only complaint was that i had to see it in a theater full of little kids, who laughed at the things that weren't supposed to be funny, and completely missed the real funny parts.

Also, the finger move, they grab hold of your finger with their thumb and forefinger, and when they flex their pinky, you explode. Seriously how does that make any sense?

But for 2.50$ how can i argue, plus i got a free bag of popcorn, so i think i got my moneys worth eh?

So if you get a chance go see this film, the animation is great, the story is incredible, and it's very funny.

I'd write more, but i really do want to get some sleep.

An Entrance of Sorts

So my Mother has been Blogging for years now, and lately she's been getting paid for it, which basically means she's a giant advert for products she'll probably never use, Why am i saying this? I really have no clue, besides the fact that getting paid to write has to be one of the coolest things ever.

Period.

I mean that's what authors do don't they?

They sit around and write.

They pull ideas out of their head, and whatever other orifices they can reach and turn it into literature. Which seriously is the greatest thing that has ever existed, besides Doctor Who of course.

Now I don't know about Most Authors, but the one Author I really know is a great guy. I mean yeah i've heard of J.K. Rowling, and Douglas Adams, and Christopher Paolini, but did they document days of their lives on Youtube for an entire year?

Did they care what their readers said enough to talk to them? And not just a small hello, but a whole conversation with feedback and ideas, and everything.

No not really, Heck J.K Rowling was suing her fans for wanting to publish a lexicon of information from her books, basically a readers guide with all the information you needed to know. And she wanted to SUE!

So Basically I appreciate the fact that Authors have amazing ideas, but it's more than the Literature itself, it's the idea behind it, the person who cares enough to talk to the people reading their novels, and has the Courage to admit they are a nerd and yell proudly.
